The ingredients needed to make Irani Chai:
  1. Prepare 3 cup water
  2. Take 3 tsp Assam tea
  3. Get 1 cup milk
  4. Take 3 tsp sugar
  5. Prepare 4-5 milk powder
  6. Take 3-4 green cardamom crushed
Steps to make Irani Chai:
  1. In a pan boil 3 cups of water. Add green cardamom and sugar. Boil it. Add tea and lower the flame. Now cover the pan with a tight lid. Boil the tea for 20-25 minutes on low flame.
  2. In another pan boil one cup milk on medium flame. Now switch the flame off. Add 4-5 tbsp of milk powder in the boiled milk. Again boil the milk. The milk will become thick. Switch the flame off.
  3. After boiling the tea for 20-25 minutes it will be dark in colour. Then switch the flame off. Strain the tea.
  4. Pour half cup thick milk in the serving cup. Then pour the tea in it and mix it. Serve it with cookies.
