Add the cream cheese to the bowl of a stand mixer and whip until smooth. Add the condensed milk, regular milk, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and eggs and beat until smooth and the ingredients are. Pour condensed milk mixture on top. Place mold in the pot of boiling water.

  1. Prepare Flan
  2. Get 2 packages cream cheese - 8 ounces each
  3. Prepare 6 eggs
  4. Make ready 1 can condensed sweetened milk - 14 ounces
  5. Take 1 can evaporated milk - 12 ounces
  6. Get 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  7. Make ready Caramel
  8. Take 1 cup sugar
  9. Make ready 1/3 cup water

Steps to make Cheese Flan:
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. In a medium saucepan or kettle boil roughly 4 cups of water
  3. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar & water over medium low heat
  4. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved
  5. Continue heating over medium low heat, without stirring, for another 10-15 minutes until it turns a deep amber color
  6. Once is it ready, pour into a 11×7×2 baking dish
  7. Completely coat the bottom of the dish & set aside
  8. Throw the cream cheese & eggs into a blender & blend until smooth
  9. Pour half of this mixture into a large bowl
  10. In the blender with the remaining amount of mixture, add both the condensed & evaporated milk. Blend until smooth
  11. Combine this mixture with the other half of the cheese & egg mixture. Whisk together thoroughly
  12. Pour into the caramel coated baking dish
  13. Put the 11×7×2 dish into a 9×13×2 dish
  14. Pour the 4 cups of water, which should now be boiling, into the 9×13×2 dish until it halfway reaches the 11×7×2 dish
  15. It's okay if you don't use all the boiling water as long as it halfway reaches the 11×7×2
  16. Cover the entire thing with foil, including the 9×13×2 dish
  17. Place in the over for 40-45 minutes
  18. You can test for readiness by inserting a knife through the center of the flan. If it comes out clean, it is ready
  19. Let it cool for an hour, then place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours
