  16. Take 2-3 drops Oil

Mash the potatoes and rajma using a potato masher to a coarse paste. Grind the sprouted ragi, green chilli and coriander. Drain water and collect the soaked ragi in a clean dry kitchen towel. The ragi will sprout, collect them in a bowl and use it further.

Instructions to make Green tea Smoked Sprouted Ragi Cutlets:
  1. In a mixing bowl take all the ingredients for cutlet except bread crumbs and oil.
  2. In the mixing bowl make a well in the middle and place a small steel bowl.
  3. Burn the charcoal till it red and place in the steel bowl.
  4. Immediately put few drops oil and 1tbsp green tea on the charcoal and close with a lid completely. Leave for 3-4mins.
  5. Remove the lid and charcoal bowl carefully.
  6. Now add breadcrumbs to the mixture and make cutlets.
  7. In a nonstick pan fry them with 2tsp oil till both sides turn brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.

Drain water and collect the soaked ragi in a clean dry kitchen towel. The ragi will sprout, collect them in a bowl and use it further. Grind the sprouted green gram (mung) with some little amount of water to a coarse paste and shift to a large bowl. Add all the above ingredients except oil to this bowl and mix nicely, do not add any water. Mix together finger millet flour, soya flour, onion, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, sesame seeds and salt in a bowl.
