  1. Get 500 gm Tomatoes
  2. Get 5 gm Ginger paste

  7. Take 4 number Green Cardamom
  8. Take As required Salt
  9. Take 50 gm Butter

  13. Prepare 5 gm Kashmiri red chilli powder
  14. Make ready 10 gm Ginger paste
  15. Get 5 gm Cumin Powder
  16. Prepare 20 ml Oil (for frying)
Steps to make Pan chicken makhani:
  1. Make a Paste of salt, red chille, and rub over the chicken pieces, keep for 15 min.
  2. Whisk curd, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin pwd, garam masala all together and mix well. Rub the chicken with this mixture and keep aside for 3 hours
  3. For gravy chop tomatoes and put in a vessel, add water to (approx 500 ml) then add deseed chillies,kashmiri red chilli pwd,green cardamom, cloves, salt boil till the tomatoes are soft and nicely cooked.
  4. Cool and blend in grinder. Then strain the mixture and discard the left over in strainer. Keep the puree.
  5. Add Oil and butter together in a non stick pan in slow flame. Then place the chicken in the pan and brown all the side.
  6. As chicken is browned add the tomato pureed and cook till chicken is cooked, add little water if required just to, make sure it should not stick.
  7. Then finish with cream and give a boil. Check seasoning.
  8. Serve with roti or rice
