Take 1 handful fresh basil leaves, tear off roughly in pieces
Make ready 1 can (28 oz) whole or crushed tomato
Take 1 tbs tomato paste (or 1 tbs Tomato sauce)
Get Sea Salt & crushed black pepper
Prepare MORE TOPPINGS:
Make ready slices Spicy Salami Pepperoni
Get Fried Beef Sausage
Make ready Half Green capsicum, sliced roughly
Take 1 medium Red onions sliced into rings
Take Mozzarella, slice like the biscuit's thickness
Make ready 2 tbs Capers, drained & chopped or
Make ready 1 cup sliced Mushrooms bottons
Take Jalapeno pickled, sliced
Take 2 cups grated Cheddar Cheese
Get Extra 2 tbs Olive oil
Steps to make Crispy Pizza Base with Yeast. π π§ππππ₯πΊ:
In a glass bowl put 2 cups of warm water add 1 tbs sugar, sprinkle 1 tbs yeast into it (not too hot water as it kills the yeast). Leave the yeast mixture for about 5'-10' until the yeast to begin acting, begun to bubble and looks a little frothy.
In a large bowl put the 480g flours, 1/2 tsp baking powder, salt & mix then sprinkle 1tbs Olive Oil on top.Make a well in the centre, pour in the yeast liquid. Using a wooden spoon work in the ingredients together by pulling the flour into the liquid until it comes together.Stir everything together until the dough begins to come away from the sides of the bowl & with the hands to transfer the dough on the floured table & knead for 10' or until nice, smooth, elastic & not sticky.
Adding a little extra flour if it's too sticky 1-2 tbs at a time so don't overdo it. Form the dough into a round loaf. Put it back into the bowl, cover with a tea towel and leave to rise for 40' in a nice warm place or until doubled in size; it results in a softer and more tender dough but rising is not necessary at all. In the mean time prepare the My Homemade Pizza Sauce.
π€My Homemade Pizza Sauce: Add 1tbs Olive oil, 1 tbs butter into a large saucepan over a medium hear, add onion, then add garlic, cook 1' then add the dried red pepper chili flakes, oregano, thyme or rosemary, fresh 5 basil leaves teared, can of crushed tomatoes, 1tbs Tomato paste, sugar,salt, pepper and stir well.Turn the heat to low and simmer the sauce for 30'.Taste the season, sauce looks thicker. Remove and set aside. ππ
Preheat oven to 200 Celcius (425 F), Gas mark 7. Pinch down the dough and knead on a floured surface for 2'. Divide into 4 balls.
Press each dough ball out flat using a rolling pin or a bottle on a well-floured surface, shape into 25-30 cm diameter circle and 1/2" thick. Using your knuckles, press just inside the edges to raise them slightly. Brush the edges dough with Olive oil. Prick the dough with fork. Note: Don't let the dough rise after roll & to bake as quickly as you can, otherwise it become too 'puffy'. Put into a baking tray cover with baking paper. Leave a rest for 10' although this is not necessarily.
I use to pre- bake the pizza crust before putting the toppings on for 5' in the preheated oven until it looks slightly set and a little bubbly (not brown at all). Bake the pizza on the lower rack of the oven, make sure the crust is closer to the heating element. After 5' remove the pizza base. Spread on top with a thin layer of Pizza Sauce.
Toppings is up to you:add sliced Mozzarella,in between add grated Cheese then above add the Red onions cut in rings forms,spread a few Salami Pepperoni slices(orGreen Capsicum slices), Capers(Mushrooms),Jalapeno,lastly grated Cheese then drizzle on top with extra Virgin Olive Oil.Bake in the Preheated oven,put into the middle rack of the oven for 15' or until the crust is golden brown&the cheese is bubbly.Remove.With a roller cutter,cut each Pizza into 6 pieces.Serve with a glass of Beer. π§π πΊ
